After years of successfully managing our own personal properties, friends and co-workers began to seek our advice on how to best manage their rentals. Soon, we had their trust and their business — folks appreciated our personal and professional approach and our successful strategy with rentals. It wasn’t long before lots of folks were asking us to help. From those humble beginnings, we launched Tin Roof Properties in the summer of 2008. Our business model is both simple and effective — we manage your home just as we would manage our own.

Mark Johnson, President and co-owner
Mark Johnson grew up in Wilmington, North Carolina. He graduated from North Carolina State University in 1991 and went on to become a US Air Force officer and pilot. He flew refueling jets out of Seymour Johnson AFB in Goldsboro, NC, and eventually joined the USAF Reserve team flying C-17s here in Charleston, SC. A former 737 First Officer with American Airlines, Mark has taken leave from American to launch Tin Roof Properties. He has nearly fifteen years experience managing rental property. Mark currently resides near Charleston with his wife and two children.

Jason Williams, Vice President and co-owner
Jason Williams was born in Southern California. He graduated from Purdue University in 1996 and was commissioned in the active duty Air Force. He has military experience as a flight training instructor and as a heavy transport pilot. Jason was stationed in New Jersey, Seattle, and Mississippi before moving to Charleston and joining the reserves flying C-17s. Currently, Jason is a 737 First Officer for Continental Airlines. He has many years experience with property management and real estate investing.
